Special Education Teachers:

Special education teachers work with students who have a wide range of learning, mental, emotional, and physical disabilities. They adapt general education lessons to meet the individual needs of their students, often working on developing social skills and life skills with academic achievements.

 Speech-Language Pathologist:

At Martinez Elementary, Ms. Vinning provides speech-language therapy services to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. She helps students to improve their speech, language, voice and communication skills for students who qualify for her services.

 Occupational Therapist:

The Occupational Therapist helps individuals develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living. They use activities, exercises, and adaptive techniques to improve students' physical, fine motor, gross motor, and sensory abilities, helping them to perform everyday tasks more independently and effectively.

 School Psychologist:

The School Psychologist supports students' emotional, social, and academic development by providing services and collaborating with teachers and parents. She helps to identify and address learning or behavioral challenges, ensuring each child receives the appropriate support to thrive in school.
