Save Today, Survive Tomorrow

In this project, students create an action plan for improving human impact on the environment in one of the following areas: 

• access to clean water (human rights),
• recycling,
• climate (ecosystems and earth spheres),
• and the rainforest.

As environmentalists, students plan and execute their group's idea for improving human impact on the environment to share with their community. 

Through Our Lens: Stories of Migration

Students will investigate why people migrate, how migration affects individuals and communities, and how cultural patterns shift through these movements. They will study both historical and modern examples of migration and connect these stories to real human experiences. Using research, interviews, and photography or illustration, students will craft powerful photo essays or visual narratives that combine images with written or spoken storytelling.
